No matter how many years you do this, the last day of school is always an emotional one.
As we spend each day with your children, we get to know them so well that they truly begin to feel like family. Saying goodbye to family is never easy. At the same time, though, today is also a celebration. We celebrate the hard work, the growth, the laughter, the friendships, and all of the moments that made this school year so special. We also celebrate all that lies ahead as your amazing children take their next step into first, second, or third grade.
As we stand on the hill today, one of our favorite FJC traditions, waving goodbye as buses pull away, we want to thank you for your partnership throughout the year. The success of our students is a reflection of the work we do together, and we are incredibly grateful for the trust you place in us each day.
Thank you for sharing your children with us. They have brought so much joy to our classrooms and hallways, and they have made FJC a very special place.
