"The Place to be is Always FJC!"

Senior Walkthrough
On Thursday, June 11, FJC had the privilege of hosting one of our most cherished traditions, the Senior Walkthrough.

Members of the Rocky Point High School Class of 2026 returned to FJC, donning their caps and gowns as they paraded through the halls where their educational journey first began. As our K-2 students lined the hallways with signs, cheers, and enthusiastic high-fives, the building was filled with excitement and pride.

For our seniors, the walkthrough was a chance to reminisce and reflect on their years at Rocky Point. Favorite teachers and staff members greeted them with hugs, handshakes, and smiles, creating meaningful moments and lasting memories.

For our current students, the experience offered a glimpse into the future. They cheered loudly for the graduates, especially those who responded with a spirited “six-seven!”, and saw firsthand where hard work, perseverance, and the strong foundation being built at FJC can lead.

The Senior Walkthrough is a powerful reminder that while our students may leave FJC, they will always remain part of the Eagle family. We congratulate the Class of 2026 and wish them continued success as they prepare for graduation and the exciting opportunities that lie ahead.

Tonight is the Night!

The Rocky Point PTA is excited to host a special Moving Up Dance for our second grade students as we celebrate the end of their time at Frank J. Carasiti Elementary School and prepare for their next adventure at JAE!

The dance will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026, from 6:00–8:30 p.m. and will feature a fun-filled evening with friends, music, and celebration. Students will also enjoy food from Zona Out East and ice cream from McNultys, which will be served to all second grade students in attendance.

This event is exclusively for our second grade students, and siblings are not permitted. We are grateful to our PTA for sponsoring this memorable opportunity for our students to celebrate together one last time before moving on to third grade.

We look forward to seeing our second graders for a night of fun, friendship, and celebration as we say, "Sea You Later, FJC!"

Yee-Haw, It's Almost Summer Break!

Students in Ms. Teveen's first grade class put on their cowboy hats and boots as they celebrated the end of the school year with a fun-filled "Yee-Haw, It's Almost Summer Break!" day.

Filled with smiles, laughter, and plenty of western spirit, the celebration was one of many special end-of-year activities taking place throughout FJC. As we approach the final days of school, classrooms across the building are creating memorable experiences that recognize students' hard work, growth, and accomplishments throughout the year.

We are proud of all that our students have achieved and look forward to finishing the year strong as we celebrate another incredible year together at FJC.

Student Half Days

As time tends to do, the end of the year has quickly come upon us. As we look to close out the year together, we wanted to remind everyone about scheduling changes for the last week of school.

During our final week of school, Wednesday, June24-Friday, June26 will be students half days.

Student pick-up will begin at 11:25am, and the busses are scheduled to depart FJC at 11:45am. If you are altering your usual dismissal routine, please make the changes via Pick-up Patrol before 10:30am.

Should you need assistance, please contact the main office.

Celebrating Our Second Grade Students

We are excited to invite our second grade families to join us for one of our favorite traditions at FJC—the 2nd Grade Moving Up Ceremony on Wednesday, June 17, at 10:00 a.m.

This special event celebrates our students' accomplishments and marks the beginning of their transition to the Joseph A. Edgar Intermediate School. It is always a memorable morning filled with pride, reflection, and excitement for the journey ahead.

Families attending the ceremony should note that parking will open at 9:30 a.m., with gates opening at 9:40 a.m. Guests are asked to enter through the gates located between the High School track and the District Office and bring a photo ID.

In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will move indoors. If that becomes necessary, attendance will be limited to three guests per family, and a livestream link will be shared through ParentSquare so family and friends can celebrate with us virtually.

We are incredibly grateful for the partnership and support of our families throughout the year and look forward to celebrating this important milestone together on June 17th.
