FJC and JAE will be joining schools across the country in participating in the Great Kindness Challenge from January 26–January 30.
The Great Kindness Challenge is a proactive, positive initiative that encourages students to practice kindness, empathy, and compassion in meaningful ways. Throughout the week, students are encouraged to perform simple acts of kindness—helping others, using kind words, showing gratitude, and including everyone—helping to create a more caring and connected school community.
To celebrate, we will also be holding Kindness Spirit Days throughout the week. Families are invited to review the schedule below and participate as they are able:
-
Monday, January 26 – Kick-Off to Kindness: Please wear your favorite team jersey or shirt, if possible.
-
Tuesday, January 27 – Peace, Love & Kindness: Let kindness shine through tie-dye and/or bright colors.
-
Wednesday, January 28 – Work Things Out with Kindness: Please wear workout gear or comfy clothes.
-
Thursday, January 29 – Powered by Kindness: Feel free to wear your favorite superhero shirt.
-
Friday, January 30 – In the Spirit of Kindness: Let’s wear kindness shirts or school spirit gear.
We look forward to a week filled with positive actions, thoughtful moments, and meaningful conversations as our students show how small acts of kindness can make a big difference. Thank you for supporting this important initiative and helping us reinforce kindness at home and at school.
