FJC Becomes a Winter Wonderland!

Each year, our incredible staff transform the halls of FJC into a true Winter Wonderland during our annual Holiday Door Wars. The creativity, teamwork, and festive spirit on display make this one of the most anticipated traditions of the season.

For the last three years, we’ve had help from some very special elves—members of the National Junior Honor Society from the Middle School. These students generously make the trip to FJC to assist with door decorating, bringing fresh ideas, artistic talent, and plenty of holiday cheer.

We are extremely grateful for their creativity and time, as they help make this event a memorable and magical experience for all of our students. Our halls have never looked more joyful!

Parent-Teacher Conferences: December 10 & 11

A quick reminder that Parent-Teacher Conferences will take place on Wednesday, December 10th and Thursday, December 11th. If you haven’t had a chance yet, you can still select a conference time on ParentSquare.

These conferences are a wonderful opportunity for families and teachers to connect, celebrate student progress, and talk about how we can continue working together to help every child shine. To help keep our conversations focused, we kindly ask that students and younger siblings stay home during the conference time.

Please also note our early dismissal schedule for both days:
  • Bus dismissal: 11:45 AM
  • Parent pickup: 11:25 AM

Thank you for your partnership and support—we look forward to seeing you and having great conversations about your children’s growth!

Holiday Spirit Week: Join Us for Some Festive Fun!

Get ready, FJC—Holiday Spirit Week is almost here, and we can’t wait to celebrate together! From December 15th through December 19th, students and staff are invited to show their school spirit and enjoy a week full of seasonal cheer. Each day brings its own special theme to help us spread joy throughout the building.

We look forward to seeing everyone’s creativity, enthusiasm, and holiday spirit as we celebrate this wonderful week at FJC!

Celebrating National Cookie Day at FJC!

On Wednesday, December 4th, FJC joined in on the fun of National Cookie Day with a sweet celebration of our very own Girl Scouts! Many of our current Girl Scouts proudly wore their sashes to school, showcasing their achievements, badges, and the spirit of leadership that the program helps cultivate.

Their presence added a burst of pride and joy to our hallways, and it was wonderful to see them represent their troops with confidence. We are so proud of our Girl Scouts and the positive impact they make within our community.

Great job to all who participated—and thank you for sprinkling a little extra sweetness into our day!

Frankie the Elf Is Back!

When we returned from Thanksgiving Break, we were greeted by a familiar face—Frankie the Elf has officially rejoined us for the holiday season! Each morning, students and staff eagerly search the halls to discover where our fun (and sometimes mischievous) friend has landed for the day.

Whether he’s hanging from the ceiling, recovering from a pretend injury in the nurse’s office, or cozied up with a book in one of our displays, Frankie always finds a way to add a little extra magic to our mornings. His playful presence brings smiles, excitement, and a wonderful sense of wonder to FJC during this festive time of year.

We can’t wait to see what he gets into next!
