Join Us for Our Second Annual Rocky Point Day!

The day is here!!! Join us tomorrow, May 10th from 11 AM to 3 PM, for an event you won’t want to miss!

FJC families are invited to come celebrate all things Rocky Point with a day full of fun, food, and community spirit. Enjoy shopping from over 100 local vendors and crafters, grab a delicious bite from a variety of food trucks, and enjoy musical performances from our talented Middle and High School students.

There’s something for everyone—kids can get creative with art, test their skills in field day games, and play soccer, lacrosse, and basketball throughout the day. We’ll also be honoring our incredible IMP(P)ACT Award winners and, in a fan-favorite event, you’ll even get the chance to duct tape High School Principal Mr. Moeller to the wall!

It’s a beautiful way to celebrate the heart of our community, and we can’t wait to see you there. Let’s make this Rocky Point Day one to remember!

FJC Second Grade Spring Chorus Concert: A Night to Remember

On Tuesday, May 7th, the High School auditorium came alive with the sound of music as our second graders took the stage for their Spring Chorus Concert. It was a truly magical evening, filled with joyful voices, big smiles, and an audience full of proud families and friends.

Our incredible students sang their hearts out to a packed house, showcasing not only their musical talents but also their hard work and enthusiasm. The concert was a beautiful celebration of the power of music and the joy it brings to our school community.

A heartfelt thank you goes to our first-year music teacher, Ms. Macedonio, whose passion for music, singing, and her students shone through every moment of the performance. We’re also grateful to Ms. McGuire, Assistant Chorus Director, for her support and guidance, and to the many school aides who assisted with rehearsals and behind-the-scenes preparations—your efforts made the evening possible.

It was a night to remember and a wonderful reminder of the incredible gift of music in our students’ lives.

Teacher Appreciation Week

This week, we took time to celebrate the incredible teachers who make FJC such a special place to learn and grow. Teacher Appreciation Week is all about recognizing the dedication, compassion, and creativity our educators bring to their classrooms every single day.

To show our gratitude, the PTA hosted a festive Cinco de Mayo luncheon, complete with delicious food and cheerful decorations—it was a wonderful way to come together and say thank you.

We also had some fun with a Staff Underground Spirit Week, adding a bit of joy and laughter to the week with themed dress-up days that brought smiles to students and staff alike.

Whether it’s a smile at the door, a creative classroom project, or an extra moment spent helping a student succeed, our teachers make a difference in ways big and small.

To all of our amazing teachers: thank you for everything you do—for the lessons you teach, the encouragement you give, and the love you show our students every day. You are truly appreciated!
