Join Us for Our Second Annual Rocky Point Day!

Mark your calendars—our second annual Rocky Point Day is happening on May 10th from 11 AM to 3 PM, and you won’t want to miss it!

FJC families are invited to come celebrate all things Rocky Point with a day full of fun, food, and community spirit. Enjoy shopping from over 100 local vendors and crafters, grab a delicious bite from a variety of food trucks, and enjoy musical performances from our talented Middle and High School students.

There’s something for everyone—kids can get creative with art, test their skills in field day games, and play soccer, lacrosse, and basketball throughout the day. We’ll also be honoring our incredible IMP(P)ACT Award winners and, in a fan-favorite event, you’ll even get the chance to duct tape High School Principal Mr. Moller to the wall!

It’s a beautiful way to celebrate the heart of our community, and we can’t wait to see you there. Let’s make this Rocky Point Day one to remember!

First Grade Visits Pompeii Pizzeria for a Delicious Learning Adventure

Our First Grade students recently enjoyed an exciting and educational field trip to Pompeii Pizzeria! The classes walked over to the pizzeria, where they were warmly welcomed by the Prestigiacomo family.

Once inside, students learned all about Italy—its geography, culture, and of course, its famous food. The highlight of the day was when each student had the chance to make their very own pizza, topping it off with a pepperoni shaped like the first letter of their name!

This hands-on experience was not only fun but also enriched our students’ understanding of another culture in a truly memorable way. More than just a field trip, this experience epitomizes the strong support and meaningful relationship between our school and the local community. The generosity and hospitality of the Prestigiacomo family are shining examples of how community partnerships can enhance student learning and create lasting memories.

We are so grateful for their continued support in hosting all of our First Grade classes and helping us bring learning to life outside the classroom.

First Graders Send Flat Stanley on a World-Wide Adventure

First Grade students have been busy exploring the world—through the eyes of Flat Stanley! After reading the beloved book by Jeff Brown, students created their very own Flat Stanley characters, each decorated with care and creativity.

Now, the real adventure begins! Students recently mailed their Flat Stanleys to friends and family near and far, launching them on exciting journeys around the country—and even the world. We can't wait to find out the many places Flat Stanley will travel.

This fun and educational project combines literacy, geography, and communication, giving students a meaningful way to connect with the wider world. We can’t wait to see where Flat Stanley ends up next!
